It was a great turn out from the WPSS family on Monday night as WPSS director and NZ U20 assistant coach Hiroshi Miyazawa, made a presentation to players and parents on the U20 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Miya was joined by special guests and elite school graduates Max Mata and Sarpreet Singh as well as goal keeper Michael Would who used to train with us part time in our former programme.

The evening proved to be both educational and insightful as Miya and the players shared their own personal stories and experiences from an exhilarating journey into the last 16 of the tournament.

The night featured stories, interviews and Q and A as the audience left the club feeling like they were part of this fantastic adventure.

A huge thanks to Max, Sarpreet and Michael for their support in making this a special occasion. All three of them taking time out of their personal schedules before heading back to their professional clubs for pre season.

Well done Miya, a great initiative and a great success!
