Singh debuts for Bayern Munich in the USA
WPSS legend Sarpreet Singh has made his first team debut for Bayern Munich on their pre-season tour of the USA.
The 20-year-old former Wellington Phoenix star came on as a substitute in all 3 of the German giants International Champions Cup games against Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan.
Singh played 45 minutes against Arsenal, 20 minutes against Real Madrid and 30 minutes against AC Milan.
Against Real Madrid the youngster nearly had an assist, came close to scoring and then had the ball in the back of the net late in the game only to be denied by an offside flag.
The young kiwi looked comfortable and at home is his new surroundings and is now hungry for more.
Singh talked to WPSS after his debut with the Bundesliga giants against Arsenal.
"I did feel some nerves at first but I just kept everything simple and really began to enjoy myself. We had an intense training the morning of the game but you just feel so good out there that you just keep running and running. After this experience I now just want to keep working hard and do my best to get more opportunities and stay at this level."
